June: Do you hear those wedding bells ringing? Whether you were married in June or any other month, you likely spent many hours trying to create the perfect wedding. And regardless of any blips or mishaps, it was likely one of the most exciting day of your life.
Ah, but what follows is marriage. There’s what’s called the “honeymoon” period, followed by the daily life as part of a couple. Most of us create a rhythm in our relationships and life proceeds in a smooth, flowing manner. But as time goes on there are issues that arise that stirs feelings of being “less content” with our situations. Our contributor, Connie Bedgood, in her essay “I Want A Wife”, takes a tongue in cheek look at one of those less than content situations. Who among those of us that have been married for years hasn’t had the same wish as our contributor?
